The World Fellowship is a prestigious global network that brings together generous individuals with a shared interest in the development of young people. The World Fellowship was created in 1987 by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh to support the long-term development of the Award and the young people it supports.
The Smithy Creative was asked – in partnership with Halcyon – to design a new visual identity that brings the World Fellowship closer to the main Award. The solution was to add white space and bold colour in place of the previous cream and gold. The colours form a ‘trail’ from the logo as the primary device, and also as a ‘band’ containing the crest.
The new identity, along with a crest pattern, has been applied across stationery, magazines, emails, invitations and even as wrapping paper for flowers.
